Yet another great story! I'm really enjoying this series so far.Emily is in Marietta to check up on her sister who suddenly went from wild child to settling down with a rancher. Lyle is that rancher's little brother and is a bit of a wild and crazy person himself. They say opposites attract, and these two definitely had a lot of chemistry.
I really loved how sweet and caring Lyle is deep down. He goes out of his way to help everyone else, including lost dogs, but yet keeps everyone at a distance. I really love how Emily figured him out, and how he figured her out. They really were a great match.

This was a great, easy read. It was filled with just enough romance and sex to keep me turning the pages. Now I'm on to number 3 in the series.
Loved the series so far.Do have one suggestion though.Please have better proofreading.Makes it more enjoyable when You don't.have to re-read a sentence.Love the stories though.

WoW! This story is as good, if not better than the first book. It is almost painful reading of the pain these people have hone through growing up and how it has affected their adult lives. Great story....read it straight through. Definitely a book to recommend to others.
IF it is based in Marietta, i have to read it! This book did not disappoint me in the least. I was very excited to read the second book in this series to see if Lyle was as funny and hot and he apperated to be in book one and yes he is.He has a dept to him that comes out in this book but maybe that is because the right woman is there to bring it out. Of course it is not that simple you know LOL OF COURSE NOT.
This second book follows were book one lets off and is very good. Read about one of the hotties in the calender shoot...
So glad I got the second book of this hot new series. Kate Hardy does a great job introducing us to Emily Foster and Lyle Tate, siblings of the main characters in Taming the Deputy.
As by the book as Emily is, Lyle is a wild-child, or so he'd have her think. This lovely story brings together two broken hearts who figure out a great, sexy way to become one.
Lots of fun.
